XEnergy organized an insightful workshop on Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), which was attended by 50 eager participants. The workshop provided a comprehensive understanding of practical strategies and best practices, highlighting the different types of PPAs, associated risks, risk management and many other important elements of successful #ppa negotiation and implementation. Through engaging discussions and expert-led presentations, participants gained valuable insights into the financial, operational and legal aspects of PPAs.
XEnergy – Empowering Women in Energy Transition invites you to the training for the purchase of renewable energy, i.e. Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), which will take place on February 15, 2024 in Zagreb. The training is intended for our members, but also for all other interested parties.

XEnergy is expanding its membership and we are pleased to introduce a new corporate member – TT cables. XEnergy – Empowering Women in Energy Transition gathered leading energy experts to discuss the open questions of the new electricity market design reform and to present 5 key guidelines for the successful implementation of the energy transition in Croatia.
On June 7, 2024, the 3rd round table in a row was held in the organization of XEnergy – Network for the promotion of women in the energy transition, and this topic was extremely present-day : “Energy storage as a function of the flexibility of the power system and the integration of RES”.
We are very pleased to introduce our new corporate member – Solvis, the largest Croatian manufacturer of solar modules. The company has been present on the global market for 14 years and has grown to over 300 employees producing 2,800 modules per day, which is about one million modules per year, with an output of 330 MW. The company was founded and is led by director Stjepan Talan. This experienced businessman turned to solar energy and founded the company in 2009, during the economic crisis. Solvis not only survived in this challenging market, but expanded its business to new markets and new products. Their products are the result of constant research and development by their experts. The solar trees and palms, as well as the solar roofs, sunshades and benches, are part of Solvis’ Ecosmart programme, which is designed to integrate the different products into the architecture of urban centres. The company operates in the field of electrical engineering and offers solutions for planning, monitoring and execution of projects in the field of electrical engineering. XEnergy’s corporate membership has been expanded to include another flagship company in the Croatian energy industry!Siemens Energy is a young company created by the spin-off of the operational unit Gas and Power (GP) from Siemens AG. The roundtable brought together respectable keynote speakers and panelists. On behalf of the Ministry of Finance, Ana Zorić, Director of the Economic and Financial System Administration of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia, Ante Žigman, President of the Board of Directors of HANFA, and Magdalena Šoljakova, Head of the IFC Office for Croatia, Slovenia and North Macedonia, as well as Danijela Miloš Sprčić from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb gave an introduction to the panel discussion, which she moderated. The discussion was attended by top managers of leading Croatian companies from strategic sectors that are particularly exposed to the risks of the green transition. In front of our members, partners and dear guests, the head of the mentoring programme, Martina Biondić, explained in more detail what this programme will look like and introduced our outstanding mentors: Nina Dusper Sušić, Tina Jakaša, Vedrana Jelušić Kašić, Ivona Štritof and Zorana Obradović.
We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET), the global women’s network connecting over 3,000 members from more than 140 countries around the world.
We are very pleased to announce two more partnerships with EU institutions: European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Commission Equality Platform for the Energy Sector. The EIB is the biggest multilateral financial institution in the world and one of the largest providers of climate finance. Through its engagement with civil society and other stakeholders, the EIB has positioned itself as a key facilitator for a carbon-neutral Europe.
We are very pleased that our member Ani Trstenjak, in addition to 11 other distinguished representatives of non-profit organizations, business and politics, was chosen as the ambassador of the European Climate Pact in Croatia, thus joining a network of more than 800 ambassadors across the EU.
We are thrilled to introduce the esteemed members of our newly formed International Advisory Board at XEnergy. Comprised of diverse experts, this board represents a convergence of women and men dedicated to advancing our mission of empowering women in the energy transition.
On April 11, XEnergy successfully organized the second cycle of one-day trainings on contracting the purchase and sale of green electricity, i.e. PPAs. The extremely successful first training, which took place in February, showed that there are still many doubts, which were clarified to the participants this time by XEnergy experts Minea Skok, Tina Jakaša, Martina Vajdić and Saša Jovičić, as well as our guests from Professio Energia Marko Karan and Miroslav Nikolić.
